Sharp detail starts at the screen. The ELEGOO Saturn 8K pairs a 10-inch monochrome LCD with 7680x4320 resolution and 28.5-micron XY accuracy, so fine features and tight tolerances hold up in the print. Layer exposure runs just 1-3s. Above the panel sits tempered glass rated 9H for scratch resistance, and it passes light well while guarding the screen.
Room to work: the build volume measures 219 x 123 x 210 mm. One large model fits, or a batch of smaller parts, which keeps throughput up without splitting jobs across sessions.
Light comes from a 28-LED matrix UV source built around a double convex lens. That arrangement cuts scattering and pushes strong contrast, projecting vertically onto the LCD at a tighter 5-degree angle. Prototype dimensions come out more accurate, with less tolerance drift.
Motion is handled by twin linear rails on the Z-axis, adjusted with non-slip hexagon socket leveling screws. The sandblasted build plate grips prints firmly during the run, and the PFA release liner lets go with less tension when you pop a model off.
Resin smell is the usual complaint, so there's a USB-powered purifier with activated carbon that absorbs and filters odor while you print. Cooling uses double heat-conducting copper heat tubes for quicker ventilation and heat dissipation.
