The extruder adapter board is the link between your extruder and the printer's motherboard. Signals and control pass through it, which is what keeps the extruder running the way it should.
It fits the Neptune 4 Max and Neptune 4 Plus, so check your model before ordering. If an extruder swap has left you with a dead connection, this board is the part that restores communication between the two ends.
Replacing it takes basic tools, and the connectors match the stock layout. Keep the old board aside until the new one is in and the extruder responds.
