Speed is the headline. Because the melt is more fluid, ELEGOO RAPID PLA+ flows cleanly at printing speeds of up to 600mm/s, so jobs finish sooner without the quality falling off.
It bends before it breaks. A high flexural modulus and good elongation at break make this filament far less brittle than everyday PLA, so printed parts crack less and keep their shape.
Tidy layers, cleaner surfaces. Cooling works well and the layer bonding is strong, which suits overhangs and bridges. You get a smooth finish with fewer visible layer lines.
Numbers you can rely on. Accuracy lands at ±0.02mm, with a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.02mm and a strict tolerance of 1.75mm diameter. All of that keeps the outflow even and makes nozzle clogs less likely.
Wound to stay put. Machine winding handles the first pass, a sub-winding handles the second, and a manual check closes the loop, so the strand sits neatly on the reel and rarely tangles or snaps.
Dry when it arrives. Every spool is dried before packing, then vacuum sealed with desiccant. Moisture and dust stay out of the bag, which cuts the chance of bubbles or blockages at the hotend.
