A direct extruder with two gears grips the filament harder and pushes it through with more force. Feeding stays smooth, so prints come out stable and accurate, and the chance of a clog or under-extrusion drops. PLA, ABS, PETG and flexible stuff like TPU all run fine on it.

Room to spread out

Build volume is 320x320x400mm/12.59 x 12.59 x 15.74 inches, which is bigger than the usual. That means one large model, several small ones, or a full batch plate without constant unloading.

Bed leveling that handles itself

The ELEGOO Neptune 3 Plus reads the hotbed with a non-contact high precision sensor at 49 (7x7) points, then adjusts Z-axis height to cancel out bumps and uneven spots. Hand-twisting knobs sit underneath the hotbed for a single-twist fine adjustment. First layers land flat.

PEI spring steel platform

A PEI magnetic platform pairs a special coating with a spring steel sheet for grip and anti-warping. Bend the plate gently and prints release or pop off. The 420W high-power hotbed heats quickly up to 100°C.

Steady Z-axis, quiet motors

Two synchronized lead screws driven by dual motors keep Z movement smooth and stable. That avoids the deviation a single lead screw motor can introduce, and accuracy holds up over long prints. An STM 32-bit motherboard runs silent drivers on X, Y, Z and E, keeping noise below 50 dB.

Screen you can pick up

The 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen detaches, so you can hold it in your hand or clip it back on the base. A built-in preview shows the model image before you start, and you can check progress against a real-time comparison image while it prints.
