Elegoo Building Block Car Robot Kit for Hands-On STEM Learning

Three robots, one box. That's the short version of this building block car kit, and it's the part kids latch onto first. Start with the robot car and work up from there using the tutorial inside the app.

What it does

• Line-tracking mode: the car moves forward by following the line underneath it
• Obstacle-avoidance mode: it detects what's ahead, steers around it, and keeps going
• Remote control: drive it straight from your phone
• Graphical programming: rebuild the behaviour with the built-in brick functions and the car's other modes

You can build up to 3 different pre-designed robots with the parts included, so the kit doesn't run out of projects after the first afternoon. The box holds building blocks, the main control unit, sensors, actuators and motors. Blocks from other sets fit too, which leaves room to improvise once the manual versions are done.

Grab the app by searching for "COLEGO" in the Apple App Store or on Google Play, then build and control the car from your phone. ELEGOO runs on a 3.7V rechargeable lithium battery with a rated capacity of 1800ma.
