Klipper firmware, already installed. A quiet Klipper motherboard and an ARM 64-bit 1.5G quad-core processor push the ELEGOO Neptune 4 to speeds as high as 500mm/s (250mm/s is the recommended working pace). Input shaping and pressure advance are on board to sharpen model quality, and 8G RAM leaves plenty of room for fast jobs.
Dual-gear direct extruder. The self-developed direct drive unit runs a 5.2:1 reduction ratio, which means solid extrusion and steadier filament feed. A copper-titanium all-metal throat pipe plus a dedicated air duct design keep heat moving away from the throat and lower the chance of a clogged nozzle.
300°C high-temp nozzle. With a 300°C nozzle and an extended hot end, filament melts fully and flows evenly even at speed. PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU and high-temperature filaments such as nylon all fall within range.
Auto bed leveling. The 121 (11x11) point system levels the build platform quickly and accurately. Hand-twist knobs under the platform handle auxiliary leveling when you want a perfect first layer, and the PEI magnetic sheet releases prints with a slight bend.
Cooling that keeps up. Two thickened double-sided 4015 model cooling fans deliver strong airflow, while 4x4020 ball bearing blower fans sit behind the print head to chill freshly deposited plastic. Quality holds up at fast print speeds.
Touchscreen and lighting. The 4.3-inch removable capacitive touchscreen works handheld or fixed on the base, with model preview and pause printing built in.
A 30-bead LED strip on the gantry, complete with hood, plus an LED at the nozzle let you watch a print in a dark room.
