CNC machined aluminium extrusion and semi-assembled parts give the frame its build quality, and setup stays short. V-guide rollers use Germany POM material: quiet running, accurate motion, and little wear across long prints. Build volume is 220X220X250mm at ±0.1mm precision, with support for multi-function extensions too.
Print finishes, then the machine tidies up after itself. Once the nozzle drops below 50° Celsius, the nozzle and motherboard cooling fans switch off automatically, which saves power and stretches fan life. Power cuts and mis-clicks don't kill a job either, since printing resumes from where it stopped. The MK8 extruder handles a wide range of materials, and a filament detection sensor pauses the print when the spool runs out.
A 400Watt switched-mode power supply guards against short circuits, overload voltage and under-voltage. The 250Watt hotbed reaches 100° Celsius in under 3 minutes at average indoor temperature and holds steady, so different filament materials can each run at their working temperature.
Two all-metal extruders sit on the ELEGOO Dual Extruder FDM 3D Printer, and it switches between two colours automatically through a single nozzle. Each extruder carries two all-metal gears for more accurate prints. A 32bit motherboard with TMC2225 silent driver keeps noise around 50db and holds consistent output for 200 hours.
The printer carries a 1-year warranty, nozzle and build plate sheet excluded, plus lifetime technical support with fast customer service replies. Replacement parts ship from local warehouses.
