The Neptune 4 Max from ELEGOO is an FDM 3D printer that reaches up to 500mm/s, runs a 300℃ high-temp nozzle and a dual-gear direct extruder, and offers a 420x420x480mm³/16.53x16.53x18.89 inch build area.
- Klipper, already on board: speeds climb to 500mm/s (250mm/s out of the box), with accelerations up to 8000mm/s. Input shaping and pressure advance are both supported. Acceleration sensors on the X and Y axes take care of automatic calibration and help print quality.
- Room to build big: the 420x420x480mm³ volume swallows large models, and it leaves space for several small parts in the same run.
- Dual-gear direct extruder: a 5.2:1 reduction ratio feeds filament reliably; the full titanium alloy throat pipe spreads heat and cuts down on clogs.
- 300°C high-temp nozzle kit: the hot end reaches 300°C, helped by an extended design, a 60W ceramic heating element and a brass heating block that melt filament fast and evenly. Nozzle PID parameters calibrate themselves for steadier temperature control.
- Auto bed leveling, plus a hand trim: the 121 (11x11) point system maps the bed for you, and the hand-twist knobs let you fine-tune the rest so the first layer lands right.
- Cooling that keeps pace: the print head carries 2x4015 thickened double-sided cooling fans and a 3010 ball-bearing blower fan. Two additional 6025 ball-bearing blower fans behind the print head cool fresh filament quickly, which means less warping and better overhangs and bridges.
